- Short-term stream (up to 2 years)
- Medium-term stream (up to 4 years)
Eligibility: Applicants must be sponsored by an approved employer. Aged care occupations like Registered Nurse may be eligible under the Medium-Term Skilled Occupation List (MTSOL).
Requirements: Employer sponsorship is required, and the applicant must meet skills, health, and character requirements.

Eligibility: Applicants must be sponsored by an employer in a regional area for a position in an occupation such as Aged or Disabled Carer or Registered Nurse.
Requirements: Must meet health, character, and skills assessments.

Overview: A permanent visa for skilled workers nominated by a regional employer.
Eligibility: Your occupation (such as Aged or Disabled Carer or Registered Nurse) must be nominated by a regional employer.
Requirements: The employer must be located in a regional area, and the applicant must pass health, character, and skills assessments.

Overview: A permanent visa for skilled workers who are nominated by their Australian employer. This visa has three streams:
- Temporary Residence Transition stream: For applicants who have worked for their employer on a TSS or other temporary visa.
- Direct Entry stream: For those who are directly nominated by an employer and have skills in an occupation on the relevant skilled occupation list (like aged care roles).
- Labour Agreement stream: For individuals nominated through a labor agreement.
Eligibility: You must be nominated by an Australian employer in an occupation such as Registered Nurse (Aged Care) or Aged or Disabled Carer. The employer must demonstrate they cannot fill the position with an Australian worker.
Requirements: Applicants must meet skills, health, and character requirements.

Overview: This is a temporary visa for young people (18-30, or 35 for some countries) that allows you to work and travel in Australia for up to 12 months. While it is not a skilled visa, it may allow for temporary work in entry-level roles in aged care.
Eligibility: Must be from an eligible country, and the visa allows part-time work (up to 40 hours per fortnight).
